Bailey 44 Holiday Live Watercolor Art Event Recap

If you know me , you know I LOVE me some good custom gift wrapping! Every Christmas I'm always expected to have the cutest wrapped gifts in my family, this years can be seen here. So I was stoked when Bailey 44 gave me the opportunity to share my gift-decorating talent with their customers!

I was given both gift tags and gift boxes to paint holiday watercolor art on for customers purchases. I originally limited my color palette to blue, green, red and black. I used the blue and red mixed to get that pretty purple color you see below in the flower on the box.

During the Bailey 44 event at Lido Marina Village I started to get some more custom watercolor art request, including the portraits you see below of customers I completed.

Happy Thanksgiving week!

What are your plans? What are you thankful for? I am headed to my parents ranch in Redlands for Thanksgiving lunch, yes we do lunch not dinner. I am so thankful I get to spend time at my parents beautiful house with my family and friends (and animals!).

The Holiday season can be such a busy time. Mostly spent on others, both financially and socially but let's not forget ourselves! This is your little reminder for your desktop...

DO SOMETHING TODAY THAT YOUR FUTURE SELF WILL THANK YOU FOR. 

So these next couple days before thanksgiving I am focusing on wrapping up some projects and student grading, so I can fully relax and enjoy this time with my family. I think my future self will thank me : )

Holiday Cards Watercolor and Wine in Laguna Beach!

Tis' the season to gather round your friends for Watercolor and Wine!

Join me Thursday December 7th, from 6pm-9pm for an evening of fun at the Soul Project in Laguna Beach.

You will learn the basics of watercolor while painting your family and friends a personalized holiday card. You will be given a set of 10 blank watercolor cards and envelopes. Whatever you don't finish during the workshop you can paint later with your new travel watercolor palette and brush you get. Read all the details about the evening and RSVP here, the workshop is limited to 10 attendees.

My Watercolor and Wine workshops are always fun for both experienced and new artist. I keep the steps to a successful card painting simple and give you plenty of inspiration for creativity. Ofcourse, we will be enjoying sips of my favorite Speak Wines! This workshop is more fun than serious and everyone lis guaranteed to have a good time. One of the things I love about my workshops is that someone always walks out with a new friend.

This Holiday Cards Watercolor and Wine workshop will be hosted in the workspace at The Soul Project. I have hosted several workshops there and it makes for a great inspiring environment. As you finish up your paintings, let them dry and take a walk around the shop for your own personal holiday shopping experience. The Soul Project is kind to offer all guests of the workshop a special 15% discount for the evening.
