LOVE WHAT YOU DO and you will never work a day in your life!!!

A little motivation Monday for you aspiring creative ladies because this is exactly how I felt when I was invited to fashion illustrate inside the St. John Knit headquarters in Orange County.

This special day was for a top client of St. John's who was in town to preview the new Fall collection, have a beautiful lunch and receive a fashion illustration completed live by me with watercolor!

I thought this idea was so unique and now the client has a special piece of original art to remember her special day. If you are interested in hiring a fashion illustrator for your event or special meeting you can contact me via email kimberly@ladyfolkstudio.com.

I've decided to keep the client anonymous out of respect for her privacy.

Mom's Nite Out! Live Watercolor Hand-Lettering Event with Ladyfolk Studio

EventsKimberly HeimbachComment

Bring your mom, sister, bestie, daughter... Mom's night out in Chino tonight!

I will be live hand-lettering personalized names on watercolor prints of my original art for all the ladies. There will also be a photo booth, food samples, make-up tutorials and gift bags for the first 150 people! You could also get some shopping done or grab dinner, here is a full list of what the Chino Towne Center has to offer.

This will be my first time in Chino for an event, last month I was in Riverside for a similar event for Easter you can see photos of below. It was such a successful event I actually ran out of cards to paint. So that was 150 watercolor hand-lettered first names in less than 2 hours, wow!

If you are interested in having a live watercolor artist at your next event you can contact me here for a quote or email kimberly@ladyfolkstudio.com I offer three different approaches for live art: hand-lettering names of guests on printed cards, live fashion illustration of guests or a large scale watercolor painting of your event scene.

Subscribe to my monthly newsletter below to be notified of future upcoming events!

This week I will be sharing my bridal shower at the gorgeous The Ranch in Laguna Beach, a how-to guide for hanging an eclectic gallery wall in your space and on Friday weekend rituals you should indulge in.
